1. Who we are
Arteria Publicidad, Inc. ("Arteria", "we", "us") operates the ALF — Advertise Like a Franchise platform (the "Service"). For the personal data we collect when you use the Service, Arteria acts as the data controller.
2. Personal data we collect
- Account data — name, email, login credentials, restaurant/business name.
- Service data — sales data, menu items, campaign content, integration tokens you connect (e.g. Meta, POS providers), and AI prompts/outputs.
- Support data — messages and attachments you send to support.
- Usage and device data — IP address, device identifiers, browser type, pages viewed, actions taken, log files.
- Billing data — billing email and subscription identifiers. Card and bank details are collected and stored by Paddle, not by us.
3. Why we use it (purposes & legal basis)
- Create and operate your account, deliver the Service — performance of contract.
- Process subscriptions, billing, tax, and invoicing — performance of contract / legal obligation (handled by Paddle as Merchant of Record).
- Provide customer support — performance of contract / legitimate interests.
- Improve the Service, debug, monitor performance and security, prevent fraud — legitimate interests.
- Send service notifications and, where permitted, product updates and marketing — legitimate interests or consent (you can opt out at any time).
- Comply with legal obligations — legal obligation.
4. Who we share data with
- Service providers / subprocessors — hosting and infrastructure, database, AI model providers, analytics, error monitoring, email, and customer support tools, all bound by data-processing terms.
- Merchant of Record (Paddle) — Paddle.com Market Limited handles checkout, payments, subscription billing, tax compliance, invoicing, refunds, and related customer service. Paddle is a data recipient and an independent controller for its payment processing activities.
- Authorities — when required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the Service.
- Professional advisers — legal, accounting, and audit advisers under confidentiality.
- Successors — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with appropriate safeguards.
We do not sell your personal data.
5. International transfers
We and our subprocessors may process data outside your country of residence, including in the United States and the European Economic Area. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.
6. Retention
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. After account closure we delete or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period unless we are required to retain it (for example, for tax, accounting, or legal-defense purposes).
7. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to: access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data; data portability; withdraw consent; and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. 8. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — encryption in transit, access controls, audit logging, and least-privilege practices — to protect personal data. No system is 100% secure; please use a strong, unique password.
9. Cookies
The Service uses essential cookies needed to sign you in and run the application, and limited analytics cookies to understand aggregate usage. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.
10. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
11. Changes
If we make material changes to this notice we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in-app or by email.
